Wun Tsuen School Singapore Study Tour
Apr 14 2025

Forty P.5 & P.6 students participated in a study stour, departing for Singapore on the morning of April 9 for a four-day, three-night experience. This program provided a valuable opportunity to learn outside the classroom, allowing students to apply their knowledge and skills in real-world settings, broaden their horizons, enhance their understanding of different cultures, and promote personal growth.

The first day was filled with exploration. We began by visiting the Singapore Maritime Exhibition, gaining insights into marine technology. Next, we went to Merlion Park to admire the iconic statue, followed by a visit to Fort Canning Park, where we learned about Singapore's history. Students experienced the multiculturalism and architectural beauty of the city as we passed by notable landmarks.

On the second day, we visited the Singapore Science Centre  for fun learning activities. We then toured Kampong Glam, the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple, Little India, and Chinatown, where students learned about local history and culture. In the evening, we enjoyed dinner at the Lau Pa Sat Hawker Centre.

On the third day, we visited the National University of Singapore, where students heard from local university students about higher education. After lunch, we explored Gardens by the Bay, admiring the Flower Dome and Cloud Forest, and learned about plant ecosystems and environmental protection. We concluded our day at the Sustainability Gallery, where students gained insights into sustainable development and expressed enthusiasm for environmental issues.

On the final day, we visited the Jewel Changi Airport Rain Vortex, where students marveled at the sight, capturing many photos. We extend our gratitude to everyone who made this exciting and unforgettable journey possible!
