Mathematics
Mathematics can help students think logically, creatively and critically. It can develop students’ analytic and problem solving skills and improve their decision-making skills and communication skills as well. Furthermore, Mathematics is valuable to help students move towards the path of life-long learning. Our school’s Mathematics curriculum is aimed to be student-centered. Our school has set up initiatives which consider our students’ varied abilities and cultural backgrounds while learning Mathematics. It emphasizes students taking the lead when it comes to their Maths learning journeys!
Our Mathematics curriculum puts an emphasis on making connections between Mathematics and real life. In order to achieve this mission, our students are involved in a variety of hands-on experiences that provide both practical knowledge and cooperative skills.
In order to raise students’ interest in learning Mathematics, our school has prepared some interesting activities and games for them. We have arranged a Mathematics online learning platform, a Mathematics Helpers Scheme, the Mathematics Club, as well as other Student Support Services such as Mathematics tutorial classes to further explore their potential. Through these activities and schemes, students enjoy learning Mathematics and become more motivated as well. As a result, our students not only learn Mathematics on campus, but also can fully utilize what they learn in real life.
